birdJam Studio is the name of birdJam's new web tool suite which provides unique ways to interact with the birdJam community. 

The first element of birdJam Studio, available now, is Playlist Creator, a web application that allows birders to quickly create custom lists of birds by simply checking off the birds in a list and then saving the list. The list can then be uploaded to birdJam Maker's downloadable playlists so that the playlist can be imported into birdJam Maker and then used on your iPod. 

But that's not all. Other features of Playlist Creator include:

• Once playlists are saved, other birders can access the same playlists. Playlist Creator is building a huge database of playlists for use by all birders!
• Playlists can be printed! So these are not just for birdJam users. Use birdJam playlists as checklists for all your birding adventures! :-)
• Talk about simple: All current birdJam playlists are available as starting points for building a new playlist—in fact, any saved playlist can be used as a beginning point in building your own custom playlist.
• Playlists can be rated (0 to 5 stars). Over time, the most useful playlists will be easily findable by rating.

• Stokes
• User contributed
