Don't panic!
This is a fairly common situation, especially if the iPod battery has been run down very low. You simply need to "Reset" your iPod. To reset a Click Wheel iPod, do the following:
- Toggle the Hold button on the top of the iPod to orange and then back into the original position.
- Then hold down Menu and the center button at the same time for about 5-10 seconds until the iPod resets. That's it!
