Shortcut: tseeeeeeaarr
Song: Shrill, down-slurred, hissy scream tseeeeeeaarr. This call is often used in movies as a substitute for a eagle scream.
Call: The familiar tseeeeaar scream is given both when flying and perched, as well as during courtship. An upslurred, chirping klooeek, klooeek is given by courting adults most often during aerial courtship displays, and also by fledglings.
